I know I should be in bed right now, considering I have to be at work in less than six hours. However, I cannot pass up this opportunity during NaPoWriMo to add more poems to this blog, especially considering their newly-published status.

James Joyce, a poet as well as a ground-breaking novelist, identified one of the most sublime aspects of beauty in his definition of the Latin claritas. Translated by Joyce to mean radiance, this quality completed his triune criteria of beauty, particularly concerning literature. This radiance is necessary to capture a true picture of beauty because it reaches beyond itself into a new dimension- the mind of the reader. Such a quality is lacking throughout much of contemporary literature. This weblog seeks to find this radiance and unveil it in works of art that shine with strong literary power.
