I don't know what I put to be here. I mean right here, where these words are going instead.
I want to be big. I want it to be more than about getting my name out there, or making a name for myself. I don't want it to be about names at all.
I want to be authoritative, but not as a braggart. I just want it to be clear, to have a radiance about it. I want people to actually want to read these pages, not just stumble across it and keep stumbling.
I want it to be amazing, which I know it never will. One can only do so much with a Blogspot, but I want to do something.
That's it--I just want to do something.

James Joyce, a poet as well as a ground-breaking novelist, identified one of the most sublime aspects of beauty in his definition of the Latin claritas. Translated by Joyce to mean radiance, this quality completed his triune criteria of beauty, particularly concerning literature. This radiance is necessary to capture a true picture of beauty because it reaches beyond itself into a new dimension- the mind of the reader. Such a quality is lacking throughout much of contemporary literature. This weblog seeks to find this radiance and unveil it in works of art that shine with strong literary power.
